Needs Assessment
MODELING provides guidelines for space allocation by projecting the amount of space departments would be assigned given consistent assumptions. A set of standardized area (square foot) multipliers, appropriate to the space type, determines the amount of space to provide for the number of people or the activity. A facility model can be used to quickly test what-if scenarios, helping an institution assess facility needs projections. Facility modeling is also readily linked to cost analysis.
